Driving home from work last night my MM came on with a A13 code. (oil, tire rotation, transmission fluid, & transfer case). Personally I have noted that the transmission seems a little hesitant when downshifting for quick acceleration or passing. I am very critical of these things and I thought it might of been my imagination, until i received the message above.
Not a problem, but I feel that my transmission fluid should have more life to it. 98% is mainly on road use with about 1% towing. Any feedback?? If so what did it cost you? |

| Have you done any of your oil changes earlier than the MM recommended? If so, this would speed up all the other maintainance item intervals. |

| I have followed the MM to a T. The dealer has performed all of the oil changes. I scheduled an oil & tranny fluid change for next week. My dealer charges $70 for the tranny fluid change. |

| i work for a honda dealer and we recommend changing your transmission fluid every 15,000 miles. which is only drain and fill which will be around 3-4 qts, and you can do it yourself to save money. but same goes for the vtm fluid too. it may not be with the mm but none of the master technicians at our shops advise going with the mm. |
