| Newbie here and GREAT site. I have a ?. Has anybody removed the rear driveshaft on a 06 Ridgeline to operate on front wheel drive only and are there any problems doing so? A quick look and it appears to be flanged on both ends for easy removal with a mid-shift bearing. With these fuel prices mileage just might increase. |

| There are bound to be problems. Both the VSA and VTM-4 systeims will be affected, probably meaning there will be warning lights on all the time and failure codes generated. And then there is the safety issue with the VSA compromised. A very bad idea in my opinion. |
