| I really would like to go with a set of good lights to compliment my bull bar but also as a driving aid. I hunt so I am usually on the roads early in the AM and drive home in the dark and my eyesight isn't the best during these times (night blindness). I really don't want a set of driving lights, I want a set of fog lights. My question is, with a bull bar, the lights are going to be sitting center of the front of the vehicle as opposed to where fog lights are normally installed, on each side of the front of the vehicle. I am thinking this will still be OK since lights on bull bars traditionally sit lower than lights on a brush guard. I am looking at the PIAA 520s. What are you thoughts? Just want to be sure before I sink some money in some PIAAs. Thanks. |

| come on people, this is some life left in this site right? Anyway, I ended up ordering some PIAA 520 Chrome Fog lamps for 208 bucks, I thought that was good deal. For those of you with auxilary lighting, where did you go through your firewall to install your switches or relays. I believe with the PIAAs, the relay is positioned under the hood and close to the battery, so cable lengths won't affect the amps, the only thing I have to pull through the firewall is the cable for the switch. Thanks for any suggestions. |

Sorry, I havn't been around in a while! I promist to update the Ridgeline Adventures with some new pics I took in San Francisco very soon.
To run those lights you want, you might be able to buy just the wiring harness for the stock fog lights, and adapt them to your PIAA's. That way, you can use the stock switch location in the dash and avoid putting new holes in your truck! The wiring harness will come with a diagram that will show you where the thread the firewall. Check with your dealer or go to the online parts store at Honda.
Let me know how it turns out. |

I ended up just bying add-a-circuit and ran it off the rear accessory circuit since all I was doing was providing power to the switch. I wasn't too concerned about getting a factory swich since the piaa seems to be a nice switch. It was an easy install.

Nice job.
Off topic question for you KillerV ... I just moved to the great state of Georgia from South Florida. What is the seal with this red dirt/clay? It seems to cling to everything. When it gets in the Ridge wheels/wells does it take a fire hose to get it out?
In the mean time, Go Gators, oops, I mean 'How 'bout dem Dogs'?! |

Funny....soil conditioner is your best friend in Ga.
Get up close and personal with a pressure washer, try to get it before the clay dries.
I hate the Ga Bulldogs...I'm sorry hate is such a mean word....I friggen' despise'em! |
