I took a 750 mile trip in my ridgeline this weekend..Mountain roads and freeway driving ...Boy..I love this truck .Rides great on the freeway , handles good in the mountains. So quite plenty of power .And with it being so quite .I had to watch myself it was real easy to get going 80 or more ..You just don't think your going that fast .I like it so much more then my 2004 Pilot .It is so much more comfortable to ride in ..My mpg was 19.5 for the trip ,but I think that will get better after the engine gets broke in plus it was windy ,which didn't help

This truck is great on long trips. I find myself driving slower just so I can spend more time it, especially with the XM Radio.

I have trouble not speeding as the truck seems to go slower than you really are going. Have to use cruise. It is so quite and smooth.

Sorry for the thread-drift, but your comment made me wonder just how accurate the speedometer is on the RidgeLine. Has anyone verfied it to a GPS or other? My Pilot speedometer was only off maybe 1-2 miles per hour at highway speeds.

I think it's pretty accurate judgeing by those radar detector signs on the highway. Mine seems to be right on.

I checked mine with the portable radar signs, and mine seems to be right in line with the signs, but I can't vouch for the signs!

Hmmm.......at 130 I wasn't really looking at the speedo. I was just trying not to run over that Ferrari and Lamborgini that were chugging away beside me. They're so delicate. :D

The last time I saw someone drive that fast was in the HomeDepot parking lot when someone flew around the corner and zipped into a parking spot I was contemplating! He was in a Ford, so I just laughed and drove around the corner to a better spot!

I took mine up in a passenger jet a couple of years ago and it stored the max. speed. I left it on for a long time. It was about 575 mph.

Ok, I'll bite -- what kind of vehicle is that?

Of course, just because the gps says 131 mph doesn't mean that it was achieved in that vehicle -- I got my garmin out in a commercial airline while in flight and it posted over 500 mph...I guess I could post a pic of that!
