Hi all im new here im considering buying a ridgeline, they look so awesome, but the thing it lacks is HP. I drove my friends and it was pretty sweet, besides the fact that it shits on it self when i gun it. I got a old LS1 from my camaro i smashed a few years ago. its beggin to be dropped in somthin, and im thinkin i wanna get a ridgeline next. So you think it could be done, or would i twist up the unibody once i get a STS turbo mounted behind it. I want to have a ridgeline that can burnout no problem, and upset a few punk kids at the same time. i know i will need to modify it some so i dont screw up the unibody, why did honda have to make a stupid unibody in these trucks, i wish they would have made a real truck with a real frame so i wouldnt have to go through the trouble with supporting it to have my fast ridgeline. But o well i want one, and i wanna see what you guys think about it and what i would have to do. It should fit in there tho, and im thinkin ill put a 480le tranny on it. Thanks guys.

LS1 means the best engine ever made, most reliable, most power potential, and easiest to get parts engine. LS1 = FUN! I plan on droppin it into my ridgeline when i will prolly get it next week. So does anyone want a under 100 mile 3.5 vtec??

Ok back to subject, i still wanna know if i can do this, if i can get a Z06 im gonna sell my 01 Trans Am to get it so i got money for the ridgeline! Man i love the ridgeline the more i look at it, and think how much fun it would be with a 350 purrin under the hood.

Considering the completely different configuration and size of the engine you speak of swapping - it would take a personal machine shop to fabricate all the adapting parts needed and a team of software engineers to keep all the computer controlled systems .
I assume you are kidding.... |

No way, im not kidding, i defanetly wanna do this. I know its gonna take ALOT of fabrication, but im upto the task. My dad and I got a machine shop and welding shop here in Cleveland. I will prolly try to put s10 v8 swap mounting brakets on it and beef up the front end alot. Like i said i know its gonna take alot of fabrication but im upto it. I would just use the wireing harness from my camaro. I know its gonna cost alot and be time consuming. but in the end i think it will be worth it. thanks again.
