Finally bought a Steel Blue RTL w/ moonroof. First time I saw it was on Honda's SuperBowl ad, back in february. After I celebrated the Pats winning it, I went online to check it out. Went to the dealership first week it came in, test drove it and fell in love. Was waiting to see a blue one in person, when I did the dealer offered me $1,150 off MSRP!!!! Reason being, it was the last day of the month so he wanted more inventory to come in and he had a hold on it but the guy had to wait a few weeks to pick it up anyway...so by giving me this deal he was selling two trucks. The catch was that I had to buy it that day, which was March 31st, and I definately did not have a problem with that, cuz I've been waiting to buy one for a couple months. So I got an RTL w/ moonroof for the price of an RTL w/out moonroof - $32,005!

Picked it up Friday afternoon with 6 miles on it, already got almost 300 miles. I love it more each time I drive it! Looking to add running boards, but wondering if I can buy the "special tool" it needs...anyone know if I can do that?

Wow, good job. You're the first to get under MSRP that I've heard.

Excellent price. Seems there are a few (very few) stealers around the country that are knocking a bit off MSRP.

Good luck!!

Congats!

I've heard that the special tool can be borrowed from College Hills Honda if you buy the running boards from them. I'm looking into that since I'd like to install them myself, too!

Have fun with the new truck and let us know if you install the running boards.

I also got a great deal on my RTL w/ moon roof for the same reason. I bought it the last day in March for $1800 under MSRP. I put almost 2000 miles on it and I don't have one complaint so far. Truly the best decision I’ve ever made, I’m glad I didn’t buy the Tundra.

$2735 off MSRP (30,500) on my RTS. Dealer then got me for $200 admin fee. No complaints. Cambridge Honda, Boston, MA. I learned a lot from the experience. Internet is a great tool. Went to a very large Honda dealer about 2 miles from my house and they were at MSRP period. At the time I was looking for an RT. Got on the Honda web site and started making calls. Found one dealer in NH at $900 off then called Cambridge they gave me a number on an RT but did not have one. Becase I knew I was getting the RTS for free with the discount I said go for it. Wish I had looked the liereature over a little more would have gone for the RTL not so much for the leather but I would have liked the heated seats, Sm radio and the homelink. I hear that on the west coast Honda is making the best deals...

I just got my RTL with moonroof yesterday. $31,100. Redrock Pearl. I love this thing. The dealer initally said that they were not dealing but after showing them some internet quotes, they changed their story. I had also just bought an 05 Ody there about 3 months ago.

Today I put a downpayment on a black RTL with moon roof, tow hitch, fog lights and mud guards. Got the whole package for $30,000. They took my old 97 dakota in trade. I am a happy camper. Hoping for no water leaks. I am a bit nervous about that.

I didn't realize you had so many miles all ready!!! I'm just a tad under 5K and will be changing the oil for the first time in the next week or so. Most of my miles are put on the motorcycle this time of year and the RidgeLine only gets driven when we have more than the two of us or need to haul something.

I have replaced the oil once, and will not do it again until the oil life indicator tells me to! It's down to 40% right now...8)

I think that's where mie is now. I'm just a "every 5K" kinda person (for oil change and tire rotation).

YMMV

I picked up my Green RTL last week. I bought it at Commonwealth motors in Lawrence MA. I'd highly recommend them. They had about 12 different Ridgelines on the lot and I got an excellent deal. I got the RTL for $28,500 including destination.

A bonus arrived a few days later; They sent me a tin of cookies!
