Just put the deposit down for a Amazon(wierd name) green Ridgeline RTL. No Navi, I have a couple of portable ones I can switch between cars and motorcycles. They tell me it's on a train and will be delivered on the 16th of May.

I'm really looking forward to owning and driving this truck. My first mod will be to add an I-pod connection through the radio, as I'm addicted to the little thing.

My previous steed was a 1998 Dakota, now with 116,000 miles, almost all of it trouble free. I drove all the trucks I could in the last few weeks and with the understanding that these choices are very personal, here are my impressions - FWIW.

Tundra – Amazing truck, by far the quietest and most refined. The limited was way cool with all the Toyota quality. Big bucks for the Limited.

Tacoma – Very zippy! Kinda noisy, but comfortable, the size is like the Dakota. No limited package, tho, which sealed the deal for me.

Frontier – too small for my fat ass, nuff said.

Titan – An amazing truck with many cool bells and whistles, powerful, luxurious interior – a little over the top styling for my taste

F150 – Very nice, quiet, smooth but too “boat like”

Silverado – Another very comfortable truck, Bose system, leather but just didn't excite me much.

Ridgeline – This was a surprise. I flat out loved it. Different looking to be sure, but damn, it drove nice, and as everyone here knows, has some really cool features. Smaller than the Tundra - important to me - and one could get leather and more doodads than other trucks in this size.

I did not drive any new Dodge's. Frankly, just
wanted a change in scenery.

GUILTY

Ipod junki too.

How are you going to connect your Ipod to the stereo? In my Camaro and Ram I have a harness that connects it to the CD changer inputs. Don't know what to do with the Ridgeline.

Hey Folks,

There is a short discussion over in the accesories section here, same sort of thing for your camaro, I imagine. My 19 yr old electronics expert says he has seen a couple of interface cables that will work. I'll ask him and post the companies.

Are you the same folks on the RT board? Small world!

There's a discussion in the accessories section. I posted my findings for an adapter that allows ipod control (limited, however) with the radio controls, but I haven't yet figured out which aux adapter (no ipod control, just straight aux input) will work with my Ridgeline (I have an RTL w/o nav). If anybody gets some info, maybe they could post it in the accessories section. It'll just get buried here.
