Now you're talking!!!! LOVE my NAV!!! My wife has always been baffled by my Garmin 2610, but she has found the NAV on the RidgeLine to be VERY user-friendly.

Maybe I'll stop by the dealership one of these days...I happen to know the used car manager so maybe I can get him to give me a great trade-in! 8)

I have a Garmin 2610 and almost sold it till I thought about going on vacations where I fly then rent a car. A situation which will be coming up next week. The Garmin is nice but not a contest for factory NAV. Sure glad I didn't sell it.

I use my 2610 on the mototcycle and in my other cage when travling. Great unit - but the factory NAV on the RidgeLine is much more user friendly (IMHO).

There seem to be a lot of GPS users on the forum. I have been in on the GPS since they were black and white and no touch screen. Cannot fathom traveling without one. Has saved me so many times I could not begin to count them. Portable does have the advantage of being able to move from car to car. Love that NAV

I'm on my 5th Garmin unit - each offering a bit more and fitting my needs just a little better than the last. I've owned the original Street Pilot, a III+, a V, a SPIII and now a 2610.

Like I've mentioned before, my GPS is a b/w Garmin eTrex and I use it constantly (when travelling or in the woods hiking, etc.) and can't imagine being without it. It has saved my rear several times, most recently when I was trying to follow AAA TripTik directions that were wrong, wrong, wrong -- wrong direction, the wrong road name, and the wrong distance! My trusty eTrex got me back on course. I'm sure the Ridge's nav would've bailed me out, too.
