What up ppl!
Wow, I like this forum. Learned some interesting things about my ridge. Muahahah..of course my brother is always complaining to me that I should take the time to learn how to function my car cause I have all these features that are new to me (First new car I bought).
Anywhooz, I plan on changing all the bulbs in my interior to blue, including the center console and maybe the instrument gauges, however, has anyone ripped those apart yet?
I ripped my interior out on my mazda 626 and was able to change some of the bulbs and the rest like the center console I couldn't change.
And if anyone did take out the center console, was it easy? I'm a newbie to all this so sorry in advance if I ask dumb questions.

Welcome to the forum xxaimsxx! I'm guessing the blue will look real nice - but as far as I remember - you will probably be the first to try the mod.
Good Luck!

Hey colorider,
I'm gonna buy the bulbs for the doors and the dome part first and then work slowly on the rest. I'll take pictures when I get them in!

Black has been a very popular color and is VERY pretty! I think you will find the silver about as easy as any to keep clean. :) |

would you happent o know what type of bulbs are used inside the car? I know that the doors use a 194 bulb. But how about the dome lights and the bottom light behind the hand rest?
Or how about the trunk lights and what not in the back of the bed?
anyone knows where i can get the specs? sylvania doesn't have that info yet! bleh =( |

| Since you're replacing the bulbs, wouldn't it be just as easy to pull the bulbs out to see what kind to get? |

No, they don't information like that. I figured out all the lightbulb had to be the same as other cars..cause I did change all the lightings in my 92 mustang before...so sure enough it worked...as for the front dome lights..i estimated the measurement and just got whatever bulbs look liked it..as far as length wise..and it was fine!
I did have to take out the blue lights for the dome, cause I got LED and they were bright as hell..so needless to say, it hurted everyone's eyes..lol |
