The Honda Ridgeline is based on the Honda SUT Concept, which debuted at the 2004 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
The Ridgeline draws power from a 3.5-liter V-6 via a five-speed-automatic transmission. Other known features include side curtain-type airbags and four-wheel antilock brakes.
Also, a newly tuned suspension lifts the truck 4 inches, and the windows are tinted.
The Ridgeline, which is also a concept, has a slightly different look than the SUT Concept. The silver paint scheme is different, and the grille and headlights are modified, too; the headlights resemble the facemask of a football linebacker's helmet.
A production version of the Ridgeline, which Honda says would be its first-ever pickup truck in the U.S. market, is scheduled to debut for the 2006 model year
