First, let me thank all of you who have been posting to this forum. I've learned a lot about this vehicle from all of you. I bought a black RTL with Moonroof, Navigation, mud flaps, wheel locks, back-up camera, and body side molding for $34,148.00. That included the freight charge, but not tax, title, or a $100.00 dealer processing fee. Initially I thought that I did ok because I offered him $32,000 for the vehicle including the destination fee. This put it at about $300.00 over invoice according to Edmunds.com. However, I added the camera and molding and this brought the price up to $34,148.00. I think the camera was about 1300.00 and the molding 900.00. I couldn't find invoice prices for these items (or install costs) so I really didn't have a basis to negotiate on. Maybe not the best price out there, but I think it is far from the worst. The only negative part of the experience was that they waited until after all this was hammered out to tell me that this price didn't qualify for their 0% financing. I would have had to buy it at the full sticker price of over $40,000 to get that rate. That and the bogus vehicle appearance package ($2,300.00 for flaps, wheel locks and paint and fabric sealants) the had on the sticker! I refused to pay for that.

Welcome and congrats!

$2,300 for the 'appearance package' does seem like highway robbery! Smart move to walk away from that.

Welcome to the forum and it sounds like you made a real good deal!!! I still think the RidgeLine is worth every penny of MSRP, but if you can knock them down on the price - that's even better!!!

Congratulations... I bought mine this past Saturday. White RTL with Nav and paid $32,553 I did not get any add-on options at purchase. Will probably add running boards and a trailer hitch. I tried to get them to through in the running boards... the sales man said no that it an option. I replied... "I can remember when ALL cars came with running boards standard"... He just staired at me. He had no clule what I was talking about. I am not that old but I do remember. :)

My first Honda ('75 Civic) was white, so was my second one ('77 Civic), but haven't had a white one since -- Honda has come out with the pretty nice color choices that they didn't have way back in the '70s! 8)
