Honda of Seattle has contacted me and said they will beat ANY written quote - even internet sites - by at least $100 - maybe as much as $500 (They give you a scratch ticket that reveals your amount). I've seen post on here where people have found dealers selling at invoice and even below. Can anyone list the names of those dealers? How hard do you think it will be to get a quote from them? I'm really close to buying a Black RTL with Nav but I just want the best price possible.

Here's some help. Go to www.wildehonda.com and then go to Vehicles and then Get A Quote. Fill out the info and then they will email a quote. They don't list Ridgeline so use Pilot and then under Additional Options put down Ridgeline RTL or whatever model and options you want and they will send you the info within an hour or so. Good luck!!

Thanks! I emailed them and they gave me a quote at invoice. So far so good. Anyone seen anything lower?

I'm so bummed out! I went to buy my Ridgeline tonight and had to walk out on the deal.

First, I emailed my invoice quote to Honda of Seattle. The claimed they had never seen a price that low and would only honor it with what they currently had in stock. Guess what, no Ridgelines with NAV. They'll do a dealer trade but it will cost me $350. I said I'll get back to them.

I called Honda of Renton and they had a black one so I went down to buy it. I showed them my print outs of the offer and quote and asked them to match it. This is where it gets good. They agreed to match the price but not on the black one that I want...only on green because they had 3 of them and the black is in higher demand. I grudgingly agreed. We start to do the deal and get to my trade, a mint condition 2000 Ford Ranger. I took the printouts from Kelly blue book showing in "average" condition it's worth $7440 for a trade & $12500 dealer retail. He started to argue saying NADA shows $5000 and because of all the 0% and employee discount deals the used car market is dead and it's not worth anymore. I pointed out that not only would he be makeing $5k on my trade, there is another $1300 in factory holdback that he will be getting even though he's selling at invoice. This is where he got rude and told me I didn't know what reality was and who was going to pay for the lights etc. He started to get loud so I said no thanks and walked.

I really wanted that Ridgeline. I guess I'll try Honda of Seattle and pay the $350. I hope that goes better.

I know you are probably frustrated, but GREAT JOB on walking out! Unfortunately, that is the only way that some of these people (and I use the term loosely) will learn. It just sickens me that so many salesmen/dealers try to take advantage of people. I know they have to make money and earn a living, etc. , but the slimy, greasy way of life for some of these guys just sickens me. Hang in there. Hopefully, you'll find one with some integrity who will cut you an honest deal that allows both sides to win.

Keep us posted!

Woo Hoo! I just bought a Black RTL with Nav and Camera! I didn't get quick what I wanted for my trade (go figure) so even though I got it for invoice, I really paid about $2500 over. Oh well, there goes my budget for new rims :(. I'm still really stoked! It will be a long wait untill Friday when it arrives.

Congrats and no matter what you pay - as long as it was worth it to YOU and you enjoy it - that's what matters!!
