This was taken from TOV
My wife and son were cruising down I-20 east of Dallas in our 04 Pilot RES when they ran up behind another Pilot sporting an " Ohio Manufacturer" tag. Lightly noting the presence of a "twin," they passed it and next surprisingly found themselves next behind an MDX sporting an "Ohio Manufacturer" tag as well. After the MDX too moved over, they found themselves staring at a lightly disguised 06 SUT!!! The casual atmoshpere quickly changed as they brought out the digital camera. The SUT driver went into an immediate evasive mode, slowing from 75 to 40 instantly. The "Manufacturer" MDX and Pilot also quickly shielded the SUT from our Olympus camera's lense. Not to be detered, my wife played cat and mouse for the better part of 20 miles with the SUT as my 9 year old gleefully snapped pictures from the back seat. Overall, I think he did a great job getting some outstanding detail pics of the upcoming Honda truck.
ENJOY!!!

Good shots consider the situation!
I am concerned about what I saw in image #9. It looks like cables or something hanging down from the bottom/middle of the vehicle. The Ridgeline already has marginal ground clearance so the bottom of it needs to be clear. This is one reason why most domestic trucks are not meant for off-road use, most have shock mounts below the axle and often even brake lines or cables for the emergency brake. Look at the axle on any Toyota truck an you will see what I mean. One advantage of a 4WD independent suspension is you remove the part that's closest to ground (the differential) this is one reason why the Hummer (the original not the H2 which is a GM POS) has 16" ground clearance.
I can't wait to see one in person! I'll be heading to the dealer as soon as I can for a close examination!

whoa cool!
im wondering about the dangling cables too...but i doubt it woudl be on the production vehicle. this was just a test car--probably slapped together or something.
why did it have electrical tape over everything??? |

The tape is a poor attempt to disguise a pre-production of prototype vehicle.
BTW - Honda does rule!!

| i can understand the tape on the emblem, but what about the tapes forming stripes on the sides, and the wrapping of the truck bed sidewalls? |

It still disguises the vehicle, albeit poorly. They try to hide distinctive elements. It's easy to see that they weren't trying too hard with that one, probably because it's going to be out in less than one month. Why even bother.

I am not so sure, remember it's going to be available in March. So there is a good chance that one is really close to a full production model. We shall see!
