I got an e-mail from the guys at www.truxxx.com. They are in the process of making a LEVEL kit for the ridgeline. So its not quite a lift, but hey, its a start!

Does that mean the front end will be lifted an inch or maybe two?

I would think so. I didn't get any actual numbers.

I've never heard of a LEVEL kit. What's that? Sorry for the stupid question...

On the new Ridgeline, as well as most trucks, the front of the truck sets slightly lower than the rear. A leveling kit lifts up the front of the truck only. It makes the front ride height equal to the rear ride height.

Thanks! Seems pretty obvious now that you point it out!

And this is a good thing why? :?:

Perhaps on some trucks it MAY look better, not sure about the RidgeLine since it all ready has a very prominent front end. Not sure I want to draw even more attention to it. JMHO

By lifting the front end the approach angle, in off-road situations, can be increased. The increase could alleviate any front bumper or undercarriage damage if you had to go up a steep-ish hill. I am only interested if the lift is subtle, like maybe an inch and is not expensive.

My brother had one put on his 4x4 Titan that lifted the front end around 2.5 inches. The vehicle looks mammoth now (especially with the 305/50/20 off road tires he put on - gas mileage = 13 mpg). It's cool but definitely overkill for me. I think the kit for the Titan was around $100.

I suppose for some people (depending on intended use) the extra inch in the front might be nice. Since I feel for the most part you would only be kidding yourself to consider the RidgeLine with it's long wheelbase, etc an "Off Road" vehicle, the height is perfect. Besides, if the front is lower, that means we are always going downhill and that will help our gas mileage!! :P :P

Agreed, but I sometimes have to drive through fields and up little hills, living on a farm and all, to clear rubbish so that extra inch would be nice to not chip up the front bumper any more than I have to. I wonder if the lift would cause worse mileage? I am actually considering putting on slightly larger (diameter) tires but am trying to minimize mileage concerns (and warranty concerns). I've been talking with my wheels/tires shop-owner friend and I think with a 20 inch alloy wheel with Falken SUV tires I will get what I'm looking for. Good street ride, a little lift (about 1/2 inch), and better aesthetics. The truck is awesome as it is, but that tinsy bit of added clearance would be nice, but only if it doesn't cause problems. We'll see.

I'd like to lift the entire truck a couple inches but only for asthetics. I'm hoping for a diy lift kit if one can even be made!

I measured mine tonight after I got home from work and it is virtually LEVEL now. It may "look" lower in the front, but the distance from the floor to the underbody is the same (behind the front wheel and in front of the back wheel).
