Fuse Glass
Can someone tell me where can i buy a ceramic fuse for my bass amp?
I am missing a fuse and a fuse cap for my red face swr 360 bass guitar amp.
The one fuse that i have is a ceramic buss ABC 10 fuse 250v.
Does it matter if i replace the ceramic fuse with a glass fuse on the bass head?
If you know a good site where i can order the fuses and the cap please post the site.
I would really appreciate your help.
Ceramic fuses are usually sand-filled, and that affects their time-to-blow characteristics. I would replace it with the same. A glass fuse might not have the right time constant, and blow on power-up (due to the in-rush).
As far as the fuse cap, you’re going to have to find out what would mate with it.
