Green and natural saree
The green shade of the
saree
has a major role in making the saree rich and exotic. This saree has self coloured prints scattered all over the saree. Self coloured roses are closely packed to form the print on the saree. The edges or the body of the saree have floral and leaf patterned sequins, beads and embroidery. These embroidered works are done with gold and beige threads. The edges of the saree are in the body colour. The embroidered strips that are placed at a brief distance from the edge form the border pattern of the saree. Dot shaped sequins are scattered uniformly all over the saree in equidistant positions.
The border design has wave shaped embroidery towards the inside of the edge. These waves comprise of four lines. Flowers and artistic curves with leaf patterns form the rest of the design.
These images occur in uniform distances and are done with impeccable precision. The leave patterns are done concentric. The threads are fastened in such a way that the embroidery is durable and long lasting. The pallu and the front torso of the saree near the shoulder have deep designs. The elements of the pattern in the border are re arranged in a different and circular pattern in the front and the pallu. The dots found in the rest of the saree are relatively dense in this region.
The saree is ideal for evening wear and parties. Emeralds or green stoned jewellery add to the royal look of the saree. Green enamelled bangles and broad green chokers go well with the saree.
Studded emerald green clutches and studded flat slippers would be apt accessories for this saree.
Hair let loose with subtle makeup would complete the looks. The saree would suit women of any physical stature and complexion.
