Is an isolation transformer enough to protect a lift instalation without a Circuit Breaker? What will happen if someone comes in conduct with a live wire and he is earthed to another point different than the transformers earth?

Circuit breakers are generally (in the context of machinery) to protect for overcurrent; like a short circuit. They don’t protect people unless you are talking about RCD or earth leakage?
Generally with an isolation transformer you would still need a circuit breaker to protect against over current. If a person comes into contact with a ‘live’ wire of an isolation transformer they should not get a shock as there would be no return path (I have put some criterior below). The person would have to grab two live wires.

To be an isolation transformer the secondary must not be earthed if the circuit on the primary side is. (In other words a nuetral link or any other path to earth) If a fault has already developed earlier and this has accidentally caused a link to earth then the other live wires will have a voltage with respect to earth and your system ceases to be isolated and you can get a shock of one wire.

If you are talking about “safety switches”then you are right a safety switch (RCD) on the primary side of your transformer will not detect someone recieving a shock downstream on the secondary side of your transformer for a few reasons. If a conductor on the secondary has been linked to earth then there will be no imbalance for the RCD to detect as the fault current will come back via the link to the secondary windings and will appear as normal load from the primary side. If it is a true isolation transformer then the victim will need to contact two live conductors and this will again be a balanced load; undetectable. The ony way to use an RCD is on the secondary side of your circuitry with an independant earth system. As the other answerer said check your local codes too.
