Build-It-Yourself: The Techniques To Attach LED Lighting Bulbs

Step 1. Always get resistors appropriate for the sort of LED light bulbs you’re sure to use. Preserve the LED light bulb packing and verify the back for criteria. The second manner is to link up the resistor to the wire, after which you can solder the wire to the positive side of the LED light bulb.

Step 5. Attach the resistor to the positive (lengthier) lead of the LED bulb. Solder the red cable (positive) to the resistor plugged into the positive bulb lead. Next, solder the black wire (negative) straight away to the negative (shorter) wire of the LED light bulb. Suggestion: Some individuals rotate the cords around the bulb legs for immovability before installing them on. To finish off, test if the soldering is safe by giving the cords a gentle tug. Encapsulate the solder points and the visible part of the wire connections with electrical tape.
Step 6. Test out the LED light bulb using the lantern battery-cell to make sure connections are locked. You’re good to go when the LED bulb brightens (and it should). Now the LED light bulb is able to be connected to whatever power source you want to put it in.
