Reviewing DeWalt Cordless Drills
DeWalt is one of the top brands when it comes to cordless drills and tools. Their cordless drills contain a variety of voltages, weights, and sizes. They have several lines of drills, such as Compact and Heavy Duty, and models that use lithium-ion batteries for power. While contractors are the primary target for DeWalt cordless drills, they can also be suitable for homeowners as well. Below are two reviews of DeWalt drills.
DeWalt DW059K-2 18-Volt Cordless Impact Wrench Kit
The DeWalt DW059K-2 18V Cordless Impact Wrench is great for fastening heavy-duty applications. Whether you are loosening nuts and bolts or securing lag screws, the consistent performance and versatility of this wrench will certainly be appreciated.
The more challenging tasks will get done quicker due to the drill being able to deliver up to 1,650 rpm and 2,600 bpm. Switching from forward to reverse is easier with the rocker-switch.
You will not be disappointed with the comfort grip of the DW059K-2. Being able to easily grip the drill allows you to work long hours without wearing down. The drill actually weighs less than 8 pounds.
With its all-metal transmission and magnesium gear case, you won’t have to worry about durability when under heavy loads.
What was noticed about the DW059K-2 was that it doesn’t have the electric brake and variable speed that some of the other drills have. Overall though, you would be hard pressed to find anyone who wouldn’t like this impact wrench.
DeWalt DCD970KL 18-Volt Hammer Drill
The motor of the DeWalt DCD970KL 18V XRP Hammer Drill is capable of producing 450 unit watts, which allows users to take on a variety of applications. It has a three speed transmission that gives users the ability to use the speed necessary for the task at hand. This translates into getting the job done more efficiently.
The ergonomic grip of the DCD970KL provides improved handling. Control is easier because of the balanced, mid-tool placement of the handle. The 360-degree side handle gives users options as far as hand placement is concerned, and this will ultimately reduce fatigue when working for hours at a time. It also features an LED light for increased visibility and weighs in at just over 5 pounds.
The all metal drill chuck is self-tightening and provides tremendous bit-gripping strength~The self-tightening chuck adjusts while you are using the drill for enhanced bit-gripping strength}.
