how to check the transistor using Digital multimeter?
using digital multimeter how the transistor can be used.. its something about forward biased n reverse biased concept.. i dont know what it is exactly.. so can i get right information?
This should have been posted under consumer electronics. It is a lot more complicated than that as it also depends on if it is an NPN or a PNP device. It also depends on the meter as some have a reversed polarity at the cable tips and too high a voltage. Even then about all you can really do is check for a short or an open. As far as trying to “test” it for it’s beta or leakage or whatever, you better do lots more home work to learn how to use your meter.
