how to get linear output from precision potentiometers?
i wanna use a precision potentiometer for getting the absolute position value of a steering wheel.
but the output is non linear. any one who can suggest a circuit,,,….
The output of the linear pot is non linear? that means the load is too much. The resistance of the load has to be at least 100 times that of the pot to get decent linearity.
Or you have to buffer the output of the pot with a precision opamp buffer.
