The Next Generation Cell Phone – HTC EVO 4G

The newly released Sprint HTC EVO 4G is currently available for sale both online and through Sprint retail stores, Radioshack and many Best Buy locations. This new handset is the first of its kind, providing customers the chance to experience something that has never been experienced before, 4G mobile internet capability.

The Sprint EVO 4G provides download speeds that are ten times faster than 3G cellular phones. The connection is so much faster that many users will find that accessing the Internet with this new technology is just as quick and easy as their DSL or cable connected service. The Sprint EVO 4G also works in 3G markets, and as you would expect from any Android phone also features more than 30,000 applications.

This new gadget from Sprint also features a large 4.3 inch touchscreen, and is even enabled to be connected to an HDTV, offering the user the chance to view HD movies on their hand held unit. The new Sprint HTC EVO 4G also features not one but two different cameras. It comes with not only a front facing 1.3 megapixel camera, but also comes with an 8.0 megapixel camera as it’s primary picture taker. As if that wasn’t enough, it also includes “mobile hotspot capability” that will let the user connect with up to eight different Wi-Fi enabled devices.

The Sprint HTC EVO 4G is an Android 2.1 cell phone and includes the notable “HTC Sense” UI, which provides a whole new level of customization, navigation, and social networking. The EVO 4G also comes with a digital compass and a convenient “kickstand” that allows you to view media. The unit features a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, GPS navigation, microSD card slot, stereo Bluetooth wireless technology and motion sensors. It operates on a 1,500 mAh Li-Ion battery.
