Whether it’s at home or in a well known company, an office is still an office and we can save energy and make the ‘office’ a better place.

Many companies or home office tend to use up most of their profits on energy bills, so today is your lucky day because I am going to list a number of ways to save energy in your workplace.
Here are the following tips that can be followed:-
Stop Desktop Uses : When we use laptops, we can save energy up to 80% in comparison to the old house desktop.
Dark desktop backgrounds: Using dark or black desktop backgrounds we can save up to 15.75 watts per hour. Because the LCD screen doesn’t consume much energy when it runs on a dark colored background, we can save much more energy.
Put it to “Sleep”: When any electronic devices such as a fax machine, printer etc. is not in use, hit the power save button and it can only mean one thing which is to save power.
Shut down at the end of the day: Shut down and turn off main switches to computer power points if not in use. It doesn’t waste all those energy. Be sure to turn off when it’s not in use as well.
Throw out the old and bring in the new: Many offices have refrigerators because staffs usually like to snack around during their break time or even lunch. The thing is, make sure your refrigerator is small so it won’t cost so much energy wastage and make sure it is brand new as well. An old refrigerator waste more energy than a new one does.
So there you have it, five simple ways to save energy. You don’t need to do much, just follow these steps and your office or company will have much more profit earnings and it won’t go to waste.
