Wire Baskets – A Tried And Trusted Storage Solution
Wire baskets have been used in a variety of different storage roles for many years. When you think of wire made baskets, supermarket shopping baskets probably spring to mind, but there are many other uses for wire constructed baskets that you may have overlooked. You might not have noticed all the uses for wire made baskets, however the main uses are:
Wire Shopping Baskets
All around the world shopping baskets constructed from wire are found in high street shops and supermarkets. Hard wearing and boasting a long lifespan, well known brands choose baskets typically constructed from steel wire. Wire shopping baskets can be ordered in different colours which are ideal for bringing them in line with a company’s colour scheme, their steel construction is also very strong and can withstand heavy loads very well.
Storage Baskets Or Bins
Wire baskets can often be used for point of sale displays in the form of a dump or storage bin. You might have seen these while shopping in one of the well known supermarket chains as they can often be found on an aisle promoting new or special offer products. Great for being stored when not in use due to their foldable design, they are still very sturdy when constructed. Being made from wire, signs and display posters are easily clipped to the sides. The storage baskets can be painted or coated in plastic, although they are commonly left steel coloured.
Baskets Made From Wire Are Ideal Storage Shelving
A huge variety of items can be stored in wire basket shelving which makes them popular with garden centres and DIY shops. The wire baskets boast an interlinking design so they can be built in to shelves or purpose built not interlinking shelves are available. Fully weatherproof once coated in a plastic coating they can be left outside all year round. Because some products are smaller than others different variations of mesh size are produced. Thanks to their strong reputation wire made baskets have become synonymous with many storage applications.
