Crimp Connector
The new, one piece design improves the durability of the connector and meets side load requirements of the standard connectors which is 2.5 millimeter. Jumper connectors has removable clips that makes it easier to correct errors of polarity during depleting or terminating simplex connectors in the field. The combination of small size and click of connectivity create the LC Connector your right choice for High Performance networks.
There are two versions that are available. The first one is the LC Unibody jumper connector, this is designed for 1.6-2.0 millimeter cordage, and 3.0mm cordage. The second version is the behind-the-wall or BTW version, this is produced to mount on 0.9 millimeter buffered fiber. LC Connectors are as well offered with pre-radiused ferrules. Utilizing these ferrules cuts the required costs of consumables and lessens polishing time. Pre-radiused connectors encompass consistent end face geometries that results in a more consistent optical function.

The LC Connector is simply fielded mountable and all other tools necessary are enclosed in the 1032 B kit combined with upgraded D182959 kit. The upgraded kit comes with a microscope adapter, connector holders and polishing tool. With this new Universal Polishing Kit, the number of polishing strokes required and papers has been lessened by half – resulting in much faster polishing time and lower prices of consumables.
Singe-Mode and Multimode LC BTW Connectors
o The 1510LC3.0 Crimp Tool is used to terminate LC connectors on 3.0 mm cordage.
o It can also be used for terminations on 1.6 mm and 2.0 mm cordages.
